17-year-old girl stabbed in back in Bronx; father arrested: sources

EAST TREMONT, Bronx (PIX11) — A 17-year-old girl was stabbed in the back in the Bronx Tuesday night, according to the NYPD.

The incident happened around 11:40 p.m. on East 182nd Street in East Tremont. The girl was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital for her injuries, authorities said.

According to sources close to the case, the attack was of a family nature. The girl's father was taken into custody.
