28 Texas Children Missing In June

Not only do we have missing children in Texas, but we also have missing children that are found in Texas in other states.

According to WRTV, on July 9, 2024, a standoff took place in Pearsall, Texas. The small town southwest of San Antonio was the center of a police action involving three Indianapolis children and their non-custodial parents.

The children's grandfather had custody of the children and a legal meeting with the children's biological parents on July 4 ended in a kidnapping. The grandfather went to the bathroom during the visit and the entire family was gone when he returned.

Children removed from home due to medical neglect

The children, ages 4, 3 and 1, were found safe after Texas DPS obtained the parents' phone numbers from their DCS case manager. They were located through a ping from the device that indicated they were in Pearsall.

Local police located the family vehicle, notified DPS and the FBI, and evacuated the motel. The children's father left the motel around 3 p.m.

When the police tried to stop him, he chased them. The situation remained calm; both parents were arrested and the children are doing well.
