Glendale PD say they identified human remains found in early June


Glendale police said they believe they identified the human remains found earlier this month following a social media post that asked the public for information.

Officials said the tip that helped them identify the remains came from the person who drew the tattoos. They recognized it after they saw the news reports.

Officials said that the body was believed to be a 16-year-old white male, who was reportedly missing from Queen Creek. They believed the body to have been in the backyard of the home since October 2023, when he was last seen.

They did not identify the cause of death, but they said they believed it to be self-inflicted.

Officials said that they are grateful to the public, who they said provided over 100 tips on the incident.
