Information sought in fatal shooting of teen at Alabama salon

Authorities are asking for information after a teenager was shot dead Sunday at a Dallas County salon.

Jeremy “Chop” Deuntae Bryant, 19, was shot and killed around 2:40 a.m. Sunday at Shop Boyz Lounge in Orrville, according to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers.

Bryant was transported to Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma, where he died of his injuries.

A man was also shot and wounded in the living room. His life is not in danger.

Investigators with the Dallas County Sheriff's Office asked anyone with information about the fatal shooting to come forward.

Those who wish to remain anonymous can call CrimeStoppers, which is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the shooter.
