Teenager faces domestic violence charges after stabbing cousin over haircut, TPD says | News

TULSA, Okla. — A teenage girl is now in custody after police say she stabbed her cousin over a haircut.

Tulsa police said three teenagers, all related, were involved in the incident that happened Friday near East 31st Street and South 145th Avenue.

Police said two brothers got their hair cut earlier Friday and told the barber their cousin would pay for it.

The cousin was allegedly furious, they said she would pay the hairdresser and went to the house where the brothers were and started a fight. She then stabbed one of them several times in the stomach, neck and face.

She initially fled the scene, but police quickly arrested her.

She faces domestic violence charges.

The victim is expected to be okay.
