Three arrested, charged following burglary of Saucier pawn shop

SAUCIER, Miss. (WLOX) – On Friday, Harrison County announced the arrest of three people believed to be involved in the burglary of Friendly Pawn Shop in Saucier.

According to a press release from the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, the incident took place on Thursday. Deputies responded to the pawn shop after an alarm was set off. After arriving at the shop, investigators found three people had broken the front glass door and took several guns from the business.

After using surveillance footage to obtain a description of the vehicle used during the burglary, deputies encountered the vehicle later in the day on Highway 49 near Highway 53 in Gulfport. A search of the vehicle discovered several of the firearms which were reported missing from the pawn shop.

All three of the vehicle's occupants were then taken into custody and charged with one felony count of commercial burglary.

  • Aalayah Fortenberry, 18, Gulfport
  • Curtis Dickey Jr., 18, Gulfport
  • Archie Lockett, 21, Gulfport

The three suspects were transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.

Fortenberry and Lockett are being held in lieu of their $25,000 bonds. Dickey's bond was set at $40,000.
