PRESS RELEASE 24-029 – JUNE 20, 2024

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) arrested 15 people on multiple charges during Operation Stamp Out, a nearly two-year undercover investigation that resulted in the confiscation of significant quantities of fentanyl, crack and powder cocaine, other stimulants, large sums of money and firearms.

Detectives began their investigation in the summer of 2022, which led to the execution of two search warrants at the residences of Anthony Alexander and Darrenton Trebbles. Various illicit narcotics were found at each of the residences, including more than five kilograms of dimethylpentylone, a synthetic stimulant, discovered at Trebble's home in Manatee County.

On June 10, the SCSO Special Investigations Section conducted a warrant sweep with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Sarasota Police Department (SPD), North Port Police Department ( NPPD) and the Statewide Prosecution Office in Fort Myers. which resulted in the seizure of 159.9 grams of Fentanyl, 5,569.8 grams of cocaine, 7.5 grams of marijuana, approximately $218,000 in cash, two firearms, gold jewelry and other substances illegal.

In total, the operation resulted in the indictment of 17 people on a total of 60 charges. The following 15 people were arrested:

  • Anthony A. Alexander, DOB 08/12/1992, of 631 Carmel Road, Venice, is charged with one count of racketeering, eight counts of conspiracy to traffic in amphetamine/cocaine, and six counts of trafficking in cocaine /fentanyl.
  • Darrenton Trebbles, DOB 10/30/1994, of 8449 Gardens Circle #14, Sarasota, is charged with one count of racketeering, three counts of conspiracy to traffic in amphetamine/cocaine, five counts of trafficking in cocaine /phenylethylamines/fentanyl, one count of possession of cocaine with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver, and one count of resisting officer without violence.
  • Eric McClain, DOB 03/08/1984, of 661 Chamberlain Blvd., Wauchula, is charged with one count of racketeering and three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine/amphetamine.
  • Israel Corona, DOB 10/29/1981, from 5006 19th E. Street, Bradenton, is charged with one count of racketeering, two counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine and one count of cocaine trafficking.
  • Porcha Graham, DOB 02/26/1988, of 794 Dedication Court, Nokomis, is charged with one count of racketeering, one count of conspiracy to traffic in amphetamine and two counts of charge of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
  • Allen Roberts III, DOB 08/15/1995, of 2469 Van Lear Avenue, North Port, is charged with one count of racketeering and three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
  • Sammy Robinson, DOB 04/06/1991, from 2452 23rd Street, Sarasota, is charged with one count of trafficking cocaine and one count of trafficking fentanyl.
  • Niko Curington, DOB 05/30/1995, of 2594 Abbeville Road, North Port, is charged with one count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
  • Antonio Charles, born 3/11/1987, of 802 Forest Street, Nokomis, is charged with one count of selling rock cocaine.
  • Horace Charles Jr., DOB 11/26/1961, of 802 Forest Street, Nokomis, is charged with two counts of selling rock cocaine.
  • Jerry Charles, DOB 09/30/1969, of 802 Forest Street, Nokomis, is charged with one count of selling rock cocaine.
  • Gerald Charles, DOB 06/28/1993, of 802 Forest Street, Nokomis, is charged with one count of selling rock cocaine.
  • Samtavia Robinson, DOB 03/12/1994, of 2449 N. Lemon Avenue, Sarasota, is charged with two counts of selling rock cocaine.
  • Clydrick Lewis, DOB 11/20/1985, of 513 Church Street, Nokomis, is charged with two counts of selling rock cocaine.
  • Rashard Rivers, DOB 11/13/1988, from 1524 E. 7th Street, Bradenton, is charged with one count of possession of cocaine.

The following two individuals have active arrest warrants against them in connection with this operation:

  • Terrance Reed Sr., DOB 04/21/1968, of 2594 Abbeville Road, North Port, is charged with one count of racketeering and three counts of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
  • Victor Schuler, born 02/11/1991, of 3496 Linden Drive, Sarasota, is charged with one count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine and one count of trafficking cocaine.
